JAMB has rescheduled the ongoing UTME for some candidates who couldn't take their tests on Tuesday due to technical problems. The examination, which commenced on Tuesday, is expected to be taken by approximately 1.6 million candidates between 25 April and 2 May.

Due to technical glitches at some of the approved computer-based test centers, JAMB has decided to reschedule tests for affected candidates. The spokesperson for JAMB, Fabian Benjamin, announced the decision after the board's management meeting on Tuesday.

Benjamin said that about 100 centers out of the 708 approved centers across the country had technical issues. He assured candidates that the technical teams were working to prevent further challenges and that no candidate would be denied the right to take their examination due to any issues encountered. Affected candidates were advised to re-print their examination slips on Wednesday, 26 April, to know their new scheduled venue, date, and time. The technical issues arose as JAMB deployed some innovations to checkmate all cases of examination misconduct perpetrated by vested interests.
