The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has begun registration for the 2024/2025 Pre-Admission Screening on Monday, August 5. The post-UTME registration started on August 8 and will close on Sunday, August 18. All candidates are required to upload their O’level and A’level results on JAMB CAPS, while those awaiting results must indicate their status. According to the university, admission will be determined based on the aggregate UTME/DE score (50%), post-UTME score (30%), and five O’level grades (20%). The federal government-owned university has set a registration fee of N2,000. UNILORIN also noted that candidates applying for MBBS, Pharmacy, Optometry, and Computer Engineering must submit only one sitting of O’level results.

To complete the UNILORIN Post-UTME registration, follow these steps:

1. Visit https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate OR go to https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng and click on Post-UTME Registration. Candidates are strongly advised NOT to use any other link.

2. On the Undergraduate Pre-Admission page, click on "Verify your details" on the right-hand side of the screen.

3. Fill in the required fields (e.g., JAMB Registration Number, email address, and phone number). The surname and first name will automatically be displayed for confirmation. Ensure that you provide your personal and active email address and phone number, as these will be used for further communication.

4. Click the "Verify" button to proceed to the payment page.

5. Click "Proceed" to go to the Remita platform.

    - Select your ATM card type (e.g., Visa or MasterCard).

    - Enter your 12-digit ATM Card Number.

    - Enter the ATM card expiry date and the CVV (the 3 digits on the reverse side of the card).

    - Lastly, enter your card PIN number and click on "Pay."
