Requirement For Direct Entry Into Medicine, Dentistry Approved By Uniport Senate in 429th Senate Meeting

 University of Port-harcourt (UNIPORT) Senate has approved that candidates seeking admission into
 Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor OF Surgery (MB.BS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes
 through the Direct entry mode must possess.
  1) Second Class Honours (Upper Division) degree in relevant Advanced Level
 subjects to be adjudged eligible for consideration.
 2)The approval further stipulated that prospective candidates must be
 admitted into the Second Year to enable them take compulsory MBBS courses at that level.
 
This approval came during the 429th Senate Meeting of the institution.
