NECO Releases 2024 May/June SSCE Examinations Time-Table

The 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) internal examination timetable has been released by the National Examinations Council (NECO). The practicals for subjects like physical education, auto mechanics, woodwork, home management, and food and nutrition will begin on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Mathematics is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, Economics on Tuesday, July 16, English Language on Wednesday, July 17, and Further Mathematics on Monday, July 1. The NECO internal examination will conclude on Friday, July 26, with objectives and an essay of commerce AG. Director Registration, Hajara Ali, stated that blind candidates must use the NECO-supplied OBR customised braille sheet for the examination. Candidates who miss the practical (paper 1) will not receive results in the subject. Albinos and blind candidates are entitled to an extra 30 minutes at the end of each subject. While scientific calculators are permitted, electronic communication devices (programmable calculators, mobile phones, iPads, tablets, smart wristwatches/glasses/pens, etc.) are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
