A first-class graduate of Landmark University has revealed that unwavering consistency, personal sacrifice, and discipline were the defining factors behind her outstanding academic achievement. Daniella Abolarin, who graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a 4.57 CGPA, said her journey to excellence was intentional and rooted in daily commitment rather than overnight brilliance.

Entering the university at just 15 years old, Abolarin faced early academic challenges, recording a second-class lower result in her first year. However, she deliberately restructured her study habits, reduced distractions, and adopted a disciplined routine that prioritised lecture engagement, library research, and strategic planning. According to her, sacrifice meant limiting social activities, managing screen time, and staying focused on long-term goals.

She credited supportive lecturers, mentorship, and strong faith as key pillars that helped her overcome moments of self-doubt, particularly during a difficult 300-level academic phase marked by administrative and academic pressures. Rather than settling for mediocrity, she remained resolute, believing excellence was achievable through persistence.
