2024 UTME: JAMB Releases 2024 UTME Results, Details emerge
The 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results have been released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The announcement was made by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, at a press conference held at JAMB headquarters in Bwari, Abuja on Monday, April 29. The examination, which began on Friday, 19th April, ended on Monday, 29th April.
JAMB had delayed the release of the UTME results by a few days to scrutinize them thoroughly. This decision was made to ensure credibility and integrity, particularly in addressing issues such as impersonation, mixed biometrics, and other forms of malpractice. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat for the 2024 UTME in 118 towns and over 700 centres nationwide. Oloyede noted that the examination process was expedited due to the efficient clearance of UTME candidates and biometric capture by JAMB.
Following the release of the 2024 UTME results, candidates can check their results on their phones and laptops using the guidelines provided.
