UTME 2024: JAMB Delists Centres, Full List Emerges

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the delisting of 25 computer-based test (CBT) centres. In a document seen on Wednesday, April 17, JAMB stated that this decision followed its 2024 mock exam held on Thursday, March 7. The board emphasized that this action is aimed at ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards among its partners.

JAMB's decision came as a result of the affected centres' non-compliance with laid-down procedures and the difficulties encountered by candidates posted to these centres for the 2024 mock-UTME in March. The affected centres are spread across 16 states of the federation and the Nigerian capital, Abuja. Four centres were delisted in Lagos, while two were affected in Kaduna and Anambra states, respectively.

In Lagos, the affected centres include Ola Unity Children's School, Tapa street, Ebutte metta; Command Secondary School CBT Centre Ipaja, Command bus-stop, Ajasa; Command Day Secondary School, Ojo cantonment, Ojo; and the Laurelhall schools CBT Centre, Laurelhall Schools Avenue, Ladegboye road, Imowo Kekere, Off Ijedee road, Ikorodu.

In Kaduna state, the affected centres are Beijing International School Kaduna, Kowa new extension; and Ateko Digital Technology, Kaduna South. In the FCT, Lincoln College of Science Management and Technology, Abuja, was also affected.
